Certex (UK) aids precision lift of a helipad onto vessel
Certex (UK) used modified spreader beams, to lift two nonidentical halves of a helipad onto a vessel from a gas rig in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea recently. The site was approximately 70 miles off the Danish coast.
Certex (Norway) and W. Giertsen Services to join forces in Bergen
W. Giertsen Services AS, a Bergen-based full-service manufacturer and supplier of lifting equipment and solutions, will on August 1 be acquired by Certex Norge AS, a market leading multisite operation. Certex Norge is a company within the Lifting Solutions business group (previously AxLoad) of Stockholm-based Axel Johnson International, whilst W. Giertsen Services is a division of W. Giertsen AS.
