Recently, Certex UK was proud to support a major project at Kings Ferry Bridge, Kent.

Partnering with Bridon-Bekaert The Ropes Group, we played a key role in replacing 40 critical ropes for SISK Group and Network Rail.

Our team was responsible for pre-project prep work, compromising of lifting solutions, and various load testing around the bridge towers, including current NDT works. We then assisted Bridon in replacing 16 x 21mm counterweight ropes and 24 x 54mm hoist ropes. Given the project's complexity, taking place over an active railway line, precision and reliability were crucial.

Completed over four stages across the year, this was a challenging yet rewarding project. In addition to our prep work, we continued to assist Bridon once the project was underway, providing expert rigging, lifting solutions, and supply support to help ensure a smooth execution.
