Workshop Mechanic - Great Yarmouth
Certex UK are looking to recruit a permanent, full time, Mechanic to predominantly refurbish lifting equipment in our Great Yarmouth warehouse.
This role would suit a motor mechanic looking for a change of career.
Certex UK are part of the Axel Johnson International Lifting Solutions Group, a global player specialising in lifting equipment, steel wire rope and services.
The successful candidates’ primary responsibilities will include:
- Control of hire fleet stock levels and housekeeping.
- Manufacturing of steel wire rope slings.
- Testing of lifting equipment.
- Refurbishment of lifting machines.
- Refurbishment of crane hook blocks.
- General labour support.
Your essential skills, training and aptitude will include:
- Strong mechanical background in any discipline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time keeping and ability to work to deadlines.
- A positive attitude towards hard work.
- A good team spirit and willingness to quickly learn new skills.
- Physically fit.
- Full driving license.
Full specific training will be provided, however mechanical experience is essential.
