TR 57 - Rigging Loft Management
The course includes maintenance and inspection of loose lifting equipment generally found in all rigging lofts.
COURSE CONTENTS
To provide delegates with greater knowledge and understanding of the legal and practical requirements of running and controlling a rigging loft onboard an offshore or a shore based workplace.
The course is considered suitable for those having little or no knowledge of rigging loft management, as well as those more experienced individuals wishing to update their certification.
Each course delegates will be expected to complete a written and practical examination which will include planning a lifting operation and writing a method statement and risk assessment from one of our scenarios. A certificate of attendance will be issued which aids in addressing the various legislative requirements placed upon employers to ensure their employees are competent. The course includes a substantial handout for future reference.
DURATION
The standard course held at our Head Office is intended to last 2 days. Bespoke courses or courses held at your own premises will be discussed upon application.
LOCATION
The course is generally held at our Head Office and manufacturing hub based at Harworth, however we are able to utilise other CERTEX sites around the country and also hold courses at your premises if adequate facilities are available.
