Anthony started working within the Steel works in 1980. Here he started a long career operating various types of cranes from small pendant operated gantry cranes to 500 tonne over head cranes in the stainless steel melting shop.
In 2001 he moved into construction working as a tower crane operator, then supervisor and then onto an appointed person on many high profile projects in the UK.
In 2008 he was seconded into the training department of a large tower crane company to deliver CPCS training and NVQ assessments of plant operations as well as delivering the construction industries SMSTS and SSSTS safety courses accredited by Site safety Plus.
Anthony is a CPCS trainer and tester as well as an A1 NVQ assessor in many plant categories and holds NEBOSH construction, PTTLS, SMSTS qualifications, is a LEEA accredited instructor for lifting operations as well as being an accredited first aid trainer.
Charles’ career began with Bridon Ropes before moving to Certex UK. He has a wealth of knowledge in crane and elevator ropes and has presented a range of training courses across the world.
In his 25 years in the wire rope industry Charles has gained a detailed knowledge of a wide range of applications. Charles is able to bring that knowledge to present informative courses including the Wire Rope Examiners and the Certex Rigging Seminar.
David Middlemiss joined the company with a 10 year career as a training specialist after leaving the Armed Forces.
He started his career as an ITSSAR (Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register) registered forklift instructor whilst also working as a peripatetic assessor for training companies working as far afield as Afghanistan and Africa.
David is a registered instructor/Assessor with ITSSAR and City and Guilds. He is also a qualified NVQ assessor for specialised plant and machinery such as Mobile Elevated Work Platforms.
