Wire Rope Pulling/Lifting Machines
HIT rope pulling machines

Today Habegger - HIT rope pulling machines are 1/3 lighter and offer increased operational safety, longer service life, less expenditure of force and considerably less rope wear.

Habegger’s patented clamping system simply prevents rope damage otherwise common to this type of machine.

The patented parallelogram clamping system which adapts itself automatically to the swelling rope when reversing the motion of the non-pulling grip jaw, has considerably less internal friction than systems known up to now, it is particularly suited to motorised use. The Swiss and other European armies rely on Habegger - HIT pulling machines. Because of use of these units for heavy duty assignments in ice and snow conditions, all dynamically stressed parts are fabricated from tempered nickel chromium alloyed steel.

The Habegger - HIT parallelogram rope pulling units can be disassembled, serviced and mounted without the help of special tools and fixtures. For maintenance purposes previously assembled parts are interchangeable.

After sales service with repair and maintenance facilities are available at your local Certex lifting centre.

Habegger - HIT pulling machines are employed in all trades for pulling, lifting, lowering, adjusting and, with special attachments, also for pushing loads of every description.

The Habegger - HIT rope puller makes it possible to multiply manpower and, with motor drive, to multiply the conversion of engine power to a linear pulling force.

The advantage of the Habegger - HIT units is their considerably longer lifetime through the expenditure of less power and the opportunity to use lighter, more flexible and less rigid ropes. These advantages are the results of many years of research and endurance tests under severe conditions. With the new brick jaws which, when sliding back in the unstressed condition, adapt themselves in operation automatically to the increased rope diameter, the wear of the grip jaws as well as the rope wear are reduced. These advantages can only be found in the Habegger - HIT parallelogram.

A further advantage arises from the longer intervals between servicing than previously possible. This contributes to the substantially lower priced maintenance cost of our patented and proven system.
