Driving for success: Certex Development Continues……

Certex UK, the national Lifting products and services supplier has made a major investment in the continued growth of its provision of inspection and testing services to its customers.

Certex have purchased a further 8 service vans to supplement its already extensive fleet. Kevin Smith, Operations Director for Certex UK, said, “This represents a significant investment in Inspection and testing services. This area has gone from strength to strength and demonstrates our commitment to providing a complete service for our customers. There are some exciting things happening at the moment which has seen our market share grow significantly since the business start up.”

Certex Vans

The vehicles are being utilised at Glasgow, Wakefield, St Helens, Bristol, Southampton, Plymouth and Redruth. The vehicles will be used as service vehicles to carry out a complete range of services including inspection, maintenance and testing of fixed and portable Lifting equipment.

This investment comes just 9 months after Certex was purchased by its management from Engineering giant, FKI. Managing Director Tony Stringer said, “It not only demonstrates the success of the buy out but also shows our long term commitment to the company”.
