Welcome to the Certex News Centre, the only place for information on Certex. Remember to keep returning to this page to keep up-to-date with Certex.18/07/01 Certex leads the way on new safety clampsCertex UK Ltd., one of the country’s largest suppliers of lifting products to the steel, welding and fabrication industries, has won exclusive rights to supply revolutionary safety clamps produced and developed by leading manufacturer, Inter product bv, based in Ede in the Netherlands. Through Certex’s national distribution network, UK companies will first benefit from two newly-developed safety clamps - the IPU10/A designed with an automatic locking clamp guaranteed not to slip with the even the heaviest loads, and the IPTPU developed for transporting and turning large thin steel plates without them buckling. The IPU10/A is by far the most innovative lifting clamp available on the market. An in-built safety locking device automatically clicks on to the material as soon as the clamp is placed on the plate. The safety lock remains in position as the clamp closes making it ultra safe with heavy loads and in the most precarious lifting situations. Ideal for lifting requirements of up to two tonnes per load, the clamp also has a universal hinged hoisting eye allowing loads to be lifted, and turned, from any direction. The new IPTPU range is especially constructed to keep large plates intact, even when turning through 180 degrees. An advanced version – the IPTPUX – also has supporting profiles on both sides of the clamp. All models come with a universal hoisting eye enabling operators to lift loads safely from any direction and are available with a jaw aperture from 0-15 mm and working load limits of up to 3000 kgs. IPBV is ISO-9001 certified and products are supplied with test certificates and clear instructions in accordance with CEN standards. “These two very simple but well-designed products typify Inter product’s commitment to quality and high safety specifications,” says Stuart Anderson, Certex UK’s Sales and Marketing Manager. “Inter Product is a worldwide name in lifting products and we are very proud to be associated with the company.” Certex plans to use its national distribution network to introduce an even wider range of Inter Product’s lifting clamps to the UK market. “Inter product’s mission is to be an innovative provider of solutions for specific hoisting problems,” says the company’s Sales Engineer, Rien Duiveman. “We work only with professional and enthusiastic distributors and Certex UK is of this calibre. Through their distribution network we aim to satisfy our end-users with quality brand products, high safety standards and technical advice.” |
