The Environment
By its nature Certex’s activities do not have a major environmental risk, however, we all as individuals or businesses have a responsibility to minimise our affect on the environment. Practical initiatives include the following:-

Waste recycling – waste is sorted on site into containers which are then recycled by a specialist waste recycling company.

Packaging – where are products are packaged, these are wherever possible reused e.g. wooden reels.

Our central warehouse is built to the very latest UK environmental standards meaning that energy use is minimised through efficient insulation, low usage lighting and “time out” switches to light areas only when required.

Employees are encouraged to limit car journeys and especially air transport to a minimum and wherever possible the use of public transport is encouraged.
